About Alina Habba
Alina Habba is a legal professional with many talents. She was born and raised in New Jersey, where she works as a lawyer to this day. As a lawyer, Alina Habba has many specialties, including divorce, family law, criminal law, and more. She has successfully navigated many complex legal situations, dealing with clients and their concerns. Alina is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.
Before Alina Habba became the lawyer of her dreams, she first had to obtain an education. This began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, which she earned from Lehigh University. Two years later, Alina went back to college. This time she headed to Widener University Commonwealth Law School, where she successfully earned her J.D. (Juris Doctor). Degrees in hand, Alina Habba continued seeking additional learning opportunities as needed. For example, she took advantage of Harvard Business School of Executive Education’s Leading Professional Service Firms courses. This helped her career immensely.
Upon graduation, Alina Habba landed her first significant position in the world of law. She began working for Judge Eugene Codey, Jr. At the time of her employment; Judge Codey was a Judge of the Civil Superior Court in Essex County, New Jersey. As an intern, Alina Habba was responsible for many key tasks, leaving the judge and others free to deal with critical tasks as they arose. Next, Alina Habba became an intern for the City Solicitor’s Office. This eventually led to Alina landing a job as a Law Clerk for the Superior Court of New Jersey. This set Alina on track for founding her own firm in due time. Her next role was as an Associate for Tompkins, McGuire, Wachenfeld, & Barry, LLP. Most recently, Alina Habba was a Managing Partner for Sandelands Eyet LLP. This role directly led to her most recent career path.
Alina Habba is a Managing Partner at Habba Madaio & Associates, LLP. Habba Madaia & Associates provides legal advice on transactional real estate, business counseling, family law, etc. Alina and her partners founded the organization in March 2020, where they have earned quite a reputation for themselves. The team has grown significantly since then, with several new members joining the force. Collectively, the team offers decades of experience in a variety of concerns. This includes everything from two-party lawsuits to more complex and multi-party litigations.
As with many legal professionals, Alina Habba is a member of several boards and organizations. She is an active member of the New Jersey Bar Association. Likewise, Alina has served on the Insurance Defense Committee and the Equity Jurisprudence Committee. Alina’s hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed; she has been recognized with several awards. For example, she was selected for the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list four years in a row (2016-2019).
In her spare time, Alina Habba prefers to spend time with her family. She is lucky to have a wonderful husband and two children, whom she cherishes with all her heart.
